Digital Demo Day in Düsseldorf
On February 13, 2020, the DIGITAL DEMO DAY will take place from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. - for the fourth time in Düsseldorf on the Böhler Area (Hansaallee 321, 40549 Düsseldorf), with over 175 national & international Industrial Tech start-ups and their latest digital products and solutions to touch & try. We are excited about the huge Digital-Lab with applications in the fields of VR / AR, IoT, robotics, artificial intelligence, blockchain or cyber security. Besides the Tech-Startups we are also looking forward to the keynote speech of Frank Thelen.

The importance of air traffic will continue to grow in the future - aircraft and engine manufacturers expect the market volume to grow steadily over the next 20 years. At the same time, the industry is currently making extensive technological changes to enable, for example, CO₂ and noise-reduced flying, an increased use of flying sensor platforms or partly unmanned transport systems for people and goods over short distances or to achieve better environmental compatibility and resource conservation.

The NRW Impulse Workshop "Innovations and Technologies for the Aviation Industry" is a new, innovative format that focuses on these topics with a view to the key technologies and discusses them with actors from industry, science, politics and society and develops optimisation potential. We are happy to take part in these discussions and look forward to exciting discussions. We are also happy to share our experiences and insights with you.

The NRW Impulse Workshop, organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia and the NMWP.NRW cluster in cooperation with the Federal Association of the German Aerospace Industry, forms the basis for a strategy to strengthen relevant technology areas in the aviation industry.
